What's in a name? How we created our brand name...
We're often asked how we came up with our name. It springs from the first letter of founder, Glenn, and his two children, Eamon and Madeleine, forming GEM Chocolates. Coincidentally it also represents Glenn and his partner, Mario, in Portuguese: GeM. Perhaps the the relationship was destiny.
Of course, it helps that our chocolates look like lustrous gemstones and the packaging looks like a jewelry box, too! It all makes for a complete story and a complete brand.
