Mission:
We will tirelessly strive to build a thriving business that proactively involves and includes members of the local neurodiverse community. Our overarching goal is to teach and develop our team members to gain key skills and important knowledge so they can key aspects of the business.

Values:
We have three common values that provide the foundation and motivation for Gem Chocolates: Inclusion, Stewardship, and Awareness.
Inclusion: Our team reflects the diversity of British Columbia and Canada. We will identify and showcase the talents and abilities of all our team members.
Stewardship: This value is demonstrated in at least two ways: environmental stewardship and stewardship of the professional development of our team members. First, we partner with specific suppliers that focus on sustainable operations with some suppliers that are B Corp Certified and value Non-GMO Project certification. Further, where possible, we source local ingredients to drive sustainability of businesses that have chosen BC and Canada as their home base. Secondly, we focus on the professional development and continuous improvement of our business partners as well as our team members.
Awareness: We proactively partner and engage with businesses and non-profit organizations that support and advocate for our neurodiverse community.
